Guano de Paris is a service that offers to collect urban pigeons poo in order to provide one of the best fertilizer in the world : the guano. Present in number in european cities, pigeons acquired something like a bad reputation. Past experiences proved that extermination is not a viable option. Guano de paris draws the outer lines of a possible new contract with this animal.

Structure of the pigeon house allow birds to settle around a central well through they circulate. Each nest is big enough for a couple of pigeon. Guano is collected on the ground right under the central well.

Le projet Guano de Paris propose de récupérer la fiente de pigeon pour le transformer en compost utilisé par les espaces verts de la ville et les particuliers dans leur jardins ou jardinières d’appartement. Articulé autour d’un pigeonnier spécifique, ce service permet de fixer une population de pigeon dans les parcs et d’en contrôler la santé et la reproduction.
